திருச்சி சிட்டி அசெம்ப்ளீஸ் ஆஃப் காட் பாஸ்கரைக்குறித்துத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.  திருச்சி முழுவதையும் தன் கையில் வைத்து, திருச்சி மாநகரமே எனக்குச் சொந்தம், என்று ஊழியம் செய்ய முயற்சித்தவர்.  பொருளாதாரத்தில் உண்மையில்லாத ஆள்.  கொஞ்சத்தில் உண்மையில்லாத இவரை ட்ரெஷரராக எழுப்பி விட்டார் இந்த மோகன்.  ஆனால் இவர் மதுபானம் குடிக்கிறவர் என்றும், மோசமான வாழ்கை நடத்துகிறவர் என்றும் இவரைக்குறித்த குற்றசாட்டுகள் எனக்குப் பல முறை எனக்கு வந்திருக்கிறது.  அந்த நாளிலிருந்து என்னை எப்படியாவது இந்த ஸதாபனத்திற்கு வெளியே அனுப்ப வேண்டும் என்று இவர் ஆவணம் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.


இதற்குச் சாதகமாக, பாஸ்டர் சொர்ணராஜ், பாஸ்டர் மோகன், இவர்களெல்லாம், இவரோடு கூட்டாகச் சேர்ந்து
சதி செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தார்கள்.  இந்தச் சதியின் விளைவாகத்தான், திருச்சியில் நடந்த அந்தக் கான்ஃப்ரன்சை, எல்லாப் பக்கமும் வேலியடைத்து, ஒரே ஒரு வாசலையும், அவருடைய வீட்டுக்குச் செல்லும் பின் வாசல் ஒன்றையும் திறந்து வைத்து, 25 அடியாட்களை ஒழுங்கு செய்து,  என்னை நிர்பந்தப் படுத்தினார்கள்.   "நீங்க கான்ஃப்ரன்ஸ்ல ஒன்னும் பேசக் கூடாது.  பேசினா பிரச்சனை வந்துரும்"  என்று செயற்குழு அங்கத்தினராயிருந்த தாசையா  அவர்கள் மூலமாய் எனக்குத் தெரியப் படுத்தினார்கள்.

அதற்கு எஸ். ஐ. ஏ. ஜி.  எனக்கு    ஒரு ஷோக்காஸ் அனுப்பியிருந்தார்கள்.  மன்னிப்புக் கோரி அவர்களுக்கு எழுதி,

அவர்கள் அதை இரத்துச் செய்து, அதற்குரிய தான நகல், அதை இரத்துச் செய்ததற்கான ஆதாரத்தை,  கொடுக்கும் படிச் சொல்லியிருந்தார்கள்.  அதைத் தொடர்ந்து தமிழ் டிஸ்ட்ரிக்ட்லேயும், அதை இரத்துச் செய்து ஆதாரம் கொடுக்கச் சொல்லியிருந்தார்கள்.  இரத்துச் செய்வதுக்கேதுவான  எல்லாப் பேப்பர்களையும் நாங்க சப்மிட் பண்ணி, பம்பாய்க்குப் போய் அவர்கள் கொடுத்த கடிதங்களை, சீலோட, எஸ். ஐ. ஏ. ஜிக்கும், தமிழ் டிஸ்ட்ரிக்ட்டுக்கும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறோம்.  எஸ். ஐ. ஏ. ஜிக்கு இரண்டு முறை கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன், இரண்டாவது முறையும் போய் அப்ரோச் பண்ணி இன்னும் பேப்பர்ஸ் கொஞ்சம் துரிதமாய்ச் செய்து கொடுங்கன்னு ஒரு கடிதம் எழுதிக் கொடுத்திருந்தோம், ஆனால் இது கவர்ன்மென்ட் ப்ரொசிஜர், ரொம்ப லாங் டைம் எடுக்குது, இந்தக் கான்ஃப்ரன்சுக்கு முந்தி அது வந்துரனும்  அப்படின்னு நான் எதிர் பார்க்கவில்லை. எஸ். ஐ. ஏ. ஜிக்குத்தான கொடுக்கனும் அப்படின்னு சொல்லிக் கொஞ்சம் நான் கவனக்குறைவாக இருந்துவிட்டேன்.  ஆகையால் அந்தப் பேப்பர் வரவில்லை.  

அதுனால நானும் என்னோடு கூட அதில் பதிவிலுருந்த தமிழ் நாட்டைச்சேர்ந்த 5 பேர் தாஸ் எசேக்கியல், வில்சன் வில்லியம், நவராஜ் தேவசகாயம், பாஸ்டர் ஞானசிகாமணி,      நாங்கள் இந்த எலக்ஷனில போட்டியிடத்தகுதி இழந்து விட்டோம்.  தயவு செய்து எங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் எங்களுக்கு ஓட்டுப்போட வேண்டியதிலை, எங்கள் தவறுகளுக்காக நாங்கள் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்கிறோம்,   

(இவ்வாறு பேசி முடித்த ஜே. ஜே. ஒய். அருள் ஸ்டேஜிலுருந்து நடந்து செல்கிறார்.  கூடியிருந்தும் இந்தப் பேச்சைக்கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த சில ஏஜிப் போதகர்கள் கரவொலி எழுப்புகிறார்கள்.  சிலர் எந்த ரியாக்சனும் காண்பிக்கவில்லை, மேடையில் பின் இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்திருந்த டி. மோகன் எழுந்திருக்கிறார்.)

நான் கான்ஃப்ரன்ஸ்ல ஒன்னும் நடக்காதது போல, மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டுவிட்டு இறங்கிவந்தேன்.

அதற்குப் பிறகுதான் என்னைக் குறித்துப் பொய்யாய்க் குற்றம் சாட்டின, இந்த மோகனை, கடவுள் ஒரு நாள் தண்டிப்பார் என்று அவர் கையில் ஒப்புக் கொடுத்தேன்.  அதே போல என்னைக் குறித்துப் பொய்யாய்க் குற்றம் சாட்டின  இரண்டு ட்ரஸ்டுகளை வைத்துக் கொண்டு வேடிக்கை காண்பித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிற சொர்ணராஜ்,
அவர்களையும் ஆண்டவர் தண்டிப்பார் என்று அவர் கையில் ஒப்புக் கொடுத்தேன்.


அதே போல நார்மன் பாஸ்கர், எல்லாச் சதிகளையும் செய்து, அங்கே அடியாட்களை செட் பண்ணின இவன் ஒரு நாள், அவமானப் படுவான் என்று வைத்திருந்தேன்.  ஜெபம் பண்ணினேன், கர்த்தர் யுத்தம் செய்யத்துவங்கினார். யுத்தத்தின் விளைவாகத்தான், இப்போது நடை பெறுகிற காரியங்களெல்லாம், ஏற்படுகிறது.


நன்றாக கவனித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.  இன்று நீங்கள் விழித்தெழும்பி, ஒரு முடிவுக்கு வராவிட்டால், இந்த ஸ்தாபனம் மிக மோசமான நிலையை அடையும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

உலகம் முழுவதிலும் மிகப் பெரிய மனிதன் என்றும் பெரிய திருச்சபைக்குப் போதகர் என்றும், மிகப் பெரிய பரிசுத்தவான் என்றும், மதிக்கப்படுகிற டி. மோகன் அவர்கள்   இப்போது, என்னைக்குறித்து அவதூறாய்ப் பேச வருகிறதை நீங்கள் பார்க்கலாம்.

ஆனால் இவர்கள் சிலர் சேர்ந்து, இந்த ஆல் இண்டியாவையும், வீழ்ச்சி செய்வதற்காக, 300 பேர்ட்டத் தவறான கையெழுத்துகளை வாங்கி,  நம்முடைய சபைகளில் உள்ள 8 ஊழியர்கள் பேர் அங்கிருந்தது. அவர்களைச் சந்தித்துக் கேட்டோம், நீங்கள் ஏன் கையெழுத்துப் போட்டீர்கள் என்று, ஐயா நாங்கள் சாப்பிட வந்தோம், சாப்பிடப் போவதற்கு,  நீங்கள்  கையெழுத்துப் போட வேண்டும், இதிலே போடுங்கள்.  நாங்கள் பேக் (பை) வைக்க வந்தோம், அந்த பேக் வைக்கிறதற்கு இங்கு கையெழுத்துப் போடவேண்டும், கையெழுத்துப் போடுங்கள் என்று, ஒரு 300 பேர்டத் தவறாகக் கையெழுத்த வாங்கி அதுல இவரும் (ஜே. ஜே. ஒய். அருளும்),மேல அங்க கொண்டு சம்மிட் பண்ணி,  எல்லாவற்றையும், ரத்துச் செய்வதற்கு, இவரும் இவரைச்  சேர்ந்தவர்களும், 5 பேர்க் கையெழுத்துப் போட்டு அந்த‌ ரிஜிஸ்டர் ஆஃபிசில் கொடுத்து  எல்லாவற்றையும் கெடுத்துப்போடப் பார்தத போது,     ஜெபம் பண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்த போது ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார், நீ உடனே அந்த ரிஜிஸ்டர் ஆஃபிசுக்கு ஆளை அனுப்பு என்று சொல்லி, உடனே போய்ப் பார்த்த போது,  அவைகளெல்லாம் இருந்தது, அதைப் பல முறை போய்த் தடை செய்து அதை முற்றிலும், அதை அழித்துப் போட நினைத்த போது,  ஆண்டவர் இறங்கி அவர்களாகப் பார்த்து, இவர்கள் எல்லாரும்,  அவர்கள் மேலே உள்ள தலைவர்கள் அல்ல,  இவர்கள் வெறும் கையெழுத்து மாத்திரம், போட்டிருக்குறார்கள் என்று சொல்லி, ஆண்டவருடைய கிருபையினாலே நமக்கு, அது, தப்புவிக்கப் பட்டது. கைகளை உயர்த்தி ஆண்டவரைத் துதிப்போம்.

ஜே.ஜே. ஒய். அருள்:

இவர் சொல்லுவது பொய்!  அந்த மேலே என் கையெழுத்தும் இல்லை, அதொட கூட,  அங்கே போய்க்கொடுத்தவர்கள் நானும் அல்ல.  இவரு ஆவியானவர் சொன்னாருன்னு அண்டப் பொய் சொல்றாரு. மதிய சாப்பாடு முடிஞ்ச உடனே நாந்தாம் போயி, பாஸ்டர் இப்படிக் கையெழுத்து வாங்கீருகாங்க மாநாட்டை நல்லா நடத்துங்க, ப்ரச்சனையில்லாம நடத்துங்க என்று சொன்னேன்.  கையெழுத்து வாங்கி ரெஜிஸ்டர் ஆஃபிஸ்ல கொடுக்கப்போறாங்கன்னு, நாந்தான் சொன்னேன்.    ஆனா இவரு ஆவியானவர் சொன்னாராம்,  என்னைக்கு இவர்ட்ட ஆவியானவர் பேசி   அதெல்லாம் ரொம்பக்காலம் ஆச்சுங்க. அண்டப் பொய் சொல்றாரு அதனைபேர்களுக்கு முன்னால, அங்கேயும் ஒரு ஆயிரத்துகு மேற்பட்ட போதகர்கள் கூடியிருந்தாங்க,  அந்தக் கான்ஃப்ரன்ஸ்ல ஆவியானவர் சொன்னாருன்னு எதுக்குப் பொய் சொல்றாரு!

அசிங்கமாருக்குது!  புரியுதா?  ஒரு மனுஷனை அழிக்கிறதுக்கு நாக்குப் பயன்படுத்தக் கூடாது!  அந்த நாக்குப் பொய் நாக்குன்னு கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானதுன்னு வேதம் சொல்லுது

சின்னமலை மோகன்:

அது மாத்திரம் அல்ல!  65 ஆண்டுகள் இதுவரைகும் நாம் மாநாடு நடத்தி வருகிறோம்,  எத்தனையோ டிசிப்ளினரி அக்ஷன் நாம் எடுத்த்திருக்கிறோம்.  இது வரைக்கும் ஒருத்தரும் கோட்டுக்குப் போனது கிடையாது.  கோட்க்குப் போய் அவைகளைத்தவறாக 7 வாய்தா அவன் போட்ருக்கிறான்.  அந்த வாய்தா நமக்கும் வந்து கெடைக்கல,  அங்க உள்ள நம்முடைய‌ அட்வக்கேட்டுகும் போகாமல், அவைகள் மகா பயங்கரமான தவறுகள் செய்யப்பட்டு, அநியாயமாக இவைகளெல்லாம், அங்கே போடப்பட்டிருக்கு, அத்றகுரிய ஆதாரங்களெல்லாம், நமக்குக் கிடைத்திருக்கிறது, இப்பொழுது, இவைகள் மகா தவறான காரியங்கள்.

ஜே.ஜே. ஒய். அருள்:

இவர் கோட்டுக்கு நான் போனேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.


கோர்ட்டுக்குப் போய் 13 கேவியட்டை எங்களுக்கு அனுப்பினது, சங்கை சாமுவேல் ராஜ் அவர்கள் தலைமையில். இவர்கள் கோர்ட்டுக்குப் போகாமல் எதச் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள், என்று சொல்லச் சொல்லுங்கள், இவரிடைய நில அபகரிப்பில கோர்ட்டுக்குப் போகாமல் விட்ருக்க வேண்டியது தான? ஏன் வக்கீல்களை வச்சுருக்குறாங்க? அவர்களுக்குச் சட்டம் தேவை, எங்களுக்குச் சட்டம் தேவையில்லையா?  இன்னம் கொஞ்சம் கவனிங்க, அதாவது இவர்கள் செய்கிற தவறுகளை, நாம் கேட்டுக்குட்டு அமைதியா உக்காந்துருக்கனும், அப்புடீன்னு எல்லாத்தையும் எதிர்பாக்குறாங்க.  எந்திருச்ச அத்தன பேரையும் காலிபண்ணீட்டாங்க, மாகாராஷ்ட்ரத்ல எந்திருச்ச போதகர்கள் தலைமத்துவத்துல இருந்தவங்களல்லாம் அனுப்பீட்டாங்க. அதே போலத் தமிழ்நாட்டில் எந்திருச்ச அத்தன பேரையும் அமுக்கி உக்காரவச்சுட்டாங்க. ஏன்னா ட்ரான்ஸ்ஃபர் பண்ணீருவாங்க, சபையப் புடுங்கீருவாங்க என்று பயம்,

இஸ்ரவேல்னு ஒரு மனுஷன் இருந்தாரு, நல்ல ஞானி, அதாவது சைவாள் குடும்பத்துலருந்து வந்தவர், பெரிய அலுவலராக, ரயில்வேல ஆஃபிசராக இருந்து வந்தவர், இவரு ஒவ்வொரு கான்ஃப்ரஸ்லருந்தும் கேள்விகளை எழுப்புவார், அவர ஓரங்கட்டி ஸ்தாப்பனத்துல இருந்து, வெளிய அனுப்புனாங்க, நான் தான், பரிதாபப் பட்டு அவருக்காகக் கெஞ்சி, எல்லாரிடத்திலும் பணம் ரெய்ஸ் பண்ணி, கடேசில ஒரு 2 இலட்ச ரூபாயோ, இரெண்ட்ர இலட்ச ரூபாயோ கொடுத்து அனுப்பினோம்!

இவருடைய, இவர் பெரிய உண்மையைக் குறித்துப் பேசுறாரு, கோர்டுக்கு நாங்க போனோம்னு சொல்றாரு, இந்தக் கோர்ட்டுக்கு எங்களைப் போகத்தூண்டிவர், இந்த ஸ்தாபனம் தான், என்பதை நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அறிய வேண்டும்.

கேவியட்டு வாங்கீறுக்குறாங்க, நான் இத உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாப் பண்ரதுன்னு மதுரைல,  ஏம் பேரை ஏற்கனவே கெடுத்து வச்சுருக்குறாங்க, ஏம்பேரைக் கெடுக்குறதுக்காக, ஏம் பேர அசிங்கப் படுத்துறதுக்காகப் ப்ரயாசப் பட்டவர்களில் இந்தமனுஷனும், ஒருவர்!  (ஸ்டீவ் ஜெயராஜ், திரையில் வருகிறார்), இவருக்குக் கைக்கூலியாக வேலைபாற்கிற சில ஆட்கள், எனக்குக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்பி ஏம் பேர அசிங்கப்படுத்துனாங்க. ஆனாக் கடவுள் இவரையும், இவருடைய குடும்பத்தையும் அசிங்கம் பண்ணுகிற காலத்தை, குறித்துவைத்துருக்குறதுதான் இந்தக்காலம்.  7 வாய்தாக்களை நாங்கள் அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தவில்லை, என்று பகிரங்கமாப் பொய் சொல்றாரு,  அவுங்க லாயர் வரல, ஆனா எங்க லாயர் போய்ருக்காரு,   ஆனா எங்க சைட்ல, தீர்ப்பாயிருக்குறது,
அவர்கள் அட்டென்ட் பண்ணாததுனால, எங்களிக்குச் சாதகமாத் தீர்ப்பாயிருக்கிறது என்பத, அவர்கள் சொல்லித்தான், எனக்குத் தெரியவந்துச்சு, அதுக்கப்புறந்தான், எங்க லாயருக்கு நான் ஃபோன் பண்ணி, என்ன நடந்ததுன்னு கேட்டேன்.

இந்த வாட்ஸஅப் வீடியோவில் வரும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள்!

சின்னமலை மோகன்:

இவர் D. மோகன் என்று பொதுவாக அழைக்கப்படுகிறார், வெளிநாடுகளில் இவரை டேவிட் மோகன் என்று அழைக்கிறார்கள்.  இவர் இந்தியாவிலேயே மிகப் பெரிய அசெம்ளீஸ் ஆஃப் காட் சபைக்குத் தலைமைப் போதகராயிருக்கிறார்  இவருடைய தேவாலயம், சென்னை சைதாப்பேட்டை சின்னமலையில் உள்ளது, புதுவாழ்வு அசெம்ளீஸ் ஆஃப் காட் என்று அழைக்கப் படுகிறது.  இவருக்குக் கீழ் அநேக ஜூனியர்ப் பாஸ்டர்கள் பணி புரிகின்றனர். இவர் ஜூனியர்ப் பாஸ்டர்களைத் திட்டிக் கொண்டே இருப்பார்.

இந்த மோகன், வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து இந்தியாவில் பல அசெம்ளீஸ் ஆஃப் காட் தேவாலயங்கள் கட்டவரும் எல்லாப் பணத்தையும் தானே விழுங்கி, பிரமாண்டமான தேவாலயத்தைக் கட்டி சாதனை புரிந்துள்ளார்.   கிராமப்புரங்களில் இருந்து யாராவது அப்பாவி ஏஜிப் பாஸ்டர்கள், ஆலயத்தில் கட்டிடவேலை பார்க்க ஒரு சிறு தொகையைக் கேட்டால், முட்டியைப் போட்டு ஜெபம் பண்ணுய்யா, பணம் வரும்யா என்று எல்லார் முன்னாலும், மற்றப் பாஸ்டர்களை அவமானப் படுத்துவார்.  ஆனால் இந்தியாவெங்கும், ரவுடிகளாக நடந்து கொள்ளும் பாஸ்டர்களுக்க்கு, ஏராளாமான நிதியுதவி செய்து, அவர்களது அட்டூழியங்கள் தொடரத் துணை போகிறார்.   உதாரணமாக, சென்னை சேத்துப்பட்டு முதலாம் அசெம்ப்ளீஸ் ஆஃப் காட் என்ற சபையில் பணிசெய்த காலம் சென்ற மோசஸ் என்ற ரவுடிப் பாஸ்டரை இவர் வளரவிட்டார்.  இந்த மோசஸ், பண ஆசை பிடித்து, சென்னை நகர் எங்கும் பல கிறிஸ்தவ வீடுகளுக்குச் சென்று பணம் வசூலித்து வந்தவர்.  எங்கள் ஏஜி ஸ்தாபனத்தில் பாஸ்டர்கள், வீட்டு விஜயத்தின் போது, பணம் வாங்க மாட்டார்கள் என்று பெருமையடிக்கும் இவர்கள்,  சேத்துப்பட்டு மோசஸ் செய்த அட்டூழியங்களைத் தட்டிக்கேட்கவில்லை.  ஆனால் அநேக அப்பாவிப் பாஸ்டர்கள் மீது அற்ப விஷயங்களுக்காக ஒழுங்கு நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பவர் இந்த மோகன்.

சின்னமலை மோகன் ஒரு குட்டிப் கடவுளாக அநேக பாஸ்டர்களாலும், தனது சபைக்கு வருபவர்களாலும் மதிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறார்.    இலட்சக்கணகான மக்கள் இவரை மாபெரும் தேவமனிதர், பரிசுத்தவான் என்று கருதுகின்றனர்.


இவர், ஜெபவாழ்வைக்குறித்து அடிக்கடிப் பிரசங்கம் செய்பவர், ஆனால் பல துர்க்குணங்கள் இவருக்குள் உண்டு.

சின்னமலை மோகன்:-

ஒரு பெருமைக்காரர்:  

அகம்பாவமும், மண்டைக் கர்வமும் கொண்டவர்.  பாஸ்டர்கள் கூடும் சமயத்தில் உணவு வேளை முடிந்த உடன், மற்றப் பாஸ்டர்கள் உணவருந்திய எச்சில் தட்டுகளை, இந்த மோகன் தனது தட்டாகக் கருதி சுத்தம் செய்பவர்.  இதைப் பார்த்து மற்றவர்கள், ஆகாகா எவ்வளவு தாழ்மையான தேவமனிதன் இந்த மோகன் என்று மெச்சிக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.  நண்பர்களே, பெருமைக்காரர்களின் ஒரு முக்கியமான‌ குணாதிசயம் என்னவென்றால், அவர்கள் மற்றவர்கள் முன்பாக, வேண்டுமென்றே தாழ்மையாக நடந்து கொள்வாரகள்.

மத்தேயு 23:5a. தங்கள் கிரியைகளெல்லாம் மனுஷர் காணவேண்டுமென்று செய்கிறார்கள்;
பெண்களை அவமதிப்பவர்:

வயதான பெண்களையும், கிராமப்புரங்களில் இருந்து வரும் அப்பாவிப் பெண்களையும்  சின்னமலை மோகன் அவ‌மரியாதையாக நடத்துபவர், எங்கெருந்தும்மா வர்ர....?  என்று அதட்டலாக அவர்களிடம், பேசுவார், ஆனால் உயர் அதிகாரிகளின் வயதான தாயார்களை இராஜ மரியாதையோடு, நடத்துபவர்.   பெண் ஊழியக்காரிகளை அடக்கி ஒடுக்கி வைக்கவேண்டும் என்று நினைப்பவர்.   மற்றவர்கள் தகப்பனையும் தாயையும் எப்படி கனம் செய்யவேண்டும், கனம் பண்ண வேண்டும் என்றால், முக்கியமாகக் கருதவேண்டும் என்று அர்த்தம் என்றெல்லாம் பிரசங்கம் செய்து, மற்றவர்களது தாயார்களை, மரியாதை குறைவாக நடத்துவதேனோ?  அருமையான கிறிஸ்தவ நண்பர்களே, உங்கள் வயதான தாய்மார்கள், இவரை மிகப் பெரிய தேவமனிதன் என்று எண்ணிச் சந்திக்கச் செல்லும் போது, அவர்களை எச்சரியுங்கள்.

பிரசங்க மேடையில் டாமினேட் பண்ணுபவர்!

சென்னை மெரீனா கடற்கரையில் சீரணிஅர்ங்கம் இருந்த போது, வெளி நாடுகளில் இருந்து வரும் பிரபல பிரசங்கிகளுக்கு இவர் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளராகச் செயல்படுவார், ஆனால் மேடையிலே தான் டாமினேட் பண்ணி, பல்லாயிரம் புறமதத்தவர் கூடியிருக்கையில், கொஞ்சம் கூடப் பொறுப்பில்லாமல், அந்நிய பாஷையில் கூக்குரல் போடுவார்.  வெளிநாடுப் பிரசங்கிகள் செய்யும் பிரசங்கத்தை, சரியாக மொழி பெயர்ப்பு மட்டும், செய்யாமல், தன் இஷ்டம் போலச் சில காரியங்களைப் பேசி, வெளி நாட்டுக்காரகளுக்கு எரிச்சலை உண்டு பண்ணுகிறவர்.  ஒரு முறை ரெய்னார்ட் பாங்கே கூட்டத்தில் இவர் டாமினேட் பண்ணியதைப் பார்த்து ரெய்னார்ட் பாங்கே அவர்களே சற்றுப் பொறுமிக்கொண்டார.

மேலும், இந்தியாவில் பல காரியங்களுகாக ஜெபம் செய்ய, அநேகக் கிறிஸ்தவ சபைத் தலைவர்கள் கிறிஸ்தவ‌ மக்களைக் கூட்டி ஜெபக்கூட்டஙள் ஒழுங்கு செய்வார்கள்.  அப்படிப்பட்ட கூட்டங்களில், வெவ்வேறு சபைத்தலைவர்களுக்கு இந்தக் குறிப்பிட்ட மாநிலத்துக்காக அல்லது இந்தக் குறிப்பிட்ட காரியங்களுக்காக நீங்கள் லீட் பண்ணி ஜெபம் செய்து மக்களை வழிநடத்துங்கள் என்று கூட்ட ஒருங்கிணைபாளார்கள் நிகழ்ச்சி நிரல் கொடுப்பார்கள்.  ஆனால் இந்தச் சின்னமலை மோகனோ, மற்றவர்களுக்காக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஜெபக்குறிப்புக்களை, தனக்கென்று (யாரிடமும், கேட்காமல்), எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, டாமினேட் செய்வார்.  இது மற்றவர்களுக்கு பிடிக்கவில்லை என்றாலும், சின்னமலை மோகனை யாருக்கும், தட்டிக்கேட்கத்  தைரியம் இல்லை.   இப்படி டாமினேட் பண்ணி இவர் பண்ணும் ஜெபங்களைக் கடவுள் கேட்பாரா?

கிறிஸ்தவ மக்களை எப்படி அடிமைகளாக வைத்திருப்பது என்று மற்ற பெந்தேகோஸ்தே பாஸ்டர்களுக்குச் சொல்லிக் கொடுப்பதில் ராஜமணி ஒரு நிபுணர்.  சபைக்கு வரும், மக்களை எப்படி ஓசியில் தங்களுக்குச் சாதகமாக வேலை வாங்கிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று போதிப்பவர்.  இவருடைய பத்திரிக்கை எக்ளிசியா என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

Letter from a Nobody to the AGI Leaders
Dear Leaders of the AGI,
Greetings !
Though I am a nobody in the AGI , there can be thousands of nobodies like me who share the same concern as I have about the sudden twist in the AGI administrational set up from 22nd and 23rd August 2012.
The voice that echoed in the AGI Conference of 22nd and 23rd August is that the Holy Spirit told you leaders that the system prevalent , especially about the election of officers was wrong and the new system you and your prophets advocated is right in the sight of God . This raises some very serious questions. According to your own argument, you became leaders through that faulty system that God does not approve of and you were anxious to change. When you knew that it is not a system approved by God, why didn’t you resign as you are illegitimate leaders elected by a system which God is not pleased with . On the contrary , you wholeheartedly accepted it and all these years none of you expressed any regret of being a leader through such a system nor did you apologize to the AG community in general for being illegitimate leaders in the sight of the Holy Spirit. Does it not mean that in the heart of heart what you mean is as long as you are elected and you can be in the position, it does not mean anything whatever system elected you. Your problem seems to be that,that system can vote you out also and that someone whom you don’t like can also be elected in to that position. In short, if the system can change you, then that system should be changed. The whole drama of 22nd and 23rd August through your emotional manipulations,fake spiritual exercises by  your well trained prophets were nothing but manipulations to hide your hidden motives.  In fact you were deceiving the innocent members of the Conference who trusted you without realising what was happening.
It is a shame that most of the General Superintendents and District Superintends also kept quiet while the AG is being destroyed by the vested interest of a few who also wanted to remain in their chairs for longer periods like 6 or 4 years without having to face the challenge of being thrown out for their misdeeds. . When I see your six year term I am reminded of Joseph Stalin about whom it is said that a few years before he dropped down dead by a stroke, he ordered the Scientists and Doctors to research and find our treatment and medicine that he may live longer if not for ever.
At least in my understanding you are obsessed of power. Power has addiction. You cannot live without it now and also that you don’t want to share it with anyone else who is not in your immediate circle. Hope you have heard of what Lord Acton said “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”  It is very difficult for you to give up power now and you are terribly afraid of a free and open election. It appears the very purpose of this out of turn Conference is because of your fear to face a free election. All the spiritual looking drama enacted during the conference through your emotional scenes, supra-spiritual exercises were nothing but cheap manoeuvring for achieving this dictatorial powers for you. The innocent people were deceived by the spiritual drama and crocodile tears of leaders. Most of them who fell before the drama are now understanding their being so simple in that hour. Some of you pretended to be super spiritual has the rare distinction of toppling other leaders from the very beginning of your carrier but now claim that the leopard has changed its spots and many simpletons believed it !
Your addiction to power and position is not going to decrease it is only going to increase. Others fasting and prayers will not help you. I would suggest a six years de-addiction programme for you to save yourself and the AGI.Yes! you need serious de-addiction treatment . If not what you are going to do will be, you will not be satisfied with 6 year term, you will go for 8 and then 12 and then Life time and then to pass it on, on a hereditary basis
We who are born and brought up in the AG and tried to serve God through the AG without any desire of climbing in the ladder of leadership consider this Conference as a tragedy. While some of you started good but taste of power drew you to addiction, some of you it seems, chose AG just for your own position. Both the group now feel that the General body is their enemy as you can be voted out and that’s why the power of the General body is taken away.
As you very well know, you have used all sorts of cunningness to achieve your goals. More than 80% of the voters do not understand English. You have money for everything including to call for an out of turn conference (if it is in Chennai)   but you did not care to translate and make the draft constitution available in the languages of more than 80% of the voters who do not know English. To them all that was available about this new constitution was the speeches of your well trained prophets for it, the super spiritual looking gestures including the crocodile tears and your cunning presentation of those who tried to save the AG from the claws of emerging dictators as rebels and unspiritual.
Further I would like to let you know that you stand exposed as inefficient as far as the general administration of the AGI is concerned. There are many properties of the AG, may be several hundreds of thousands of rupees worth, now most of them are becoming private properties of those individuals because of the negligence of leadership. It appears that you consider that your work is only to rule over the meek, simple and unquestioning pastors of the AGI and nothing to do with the properties belonging to the AGI. You have chosen to look the other way when it is being encroached. May be because
1) You think it is unspiritual
2) It requires hard work
3) It may hurt even some of the AG leaders
4) It may affect your election prospect
5) May be you think that it is bought by easy money from abroad
6) You don’t have a clue as to what to be done
7) You don’t have time after focusing on the works that will secure your election prospects. I understand that you have enough time for marriages and funerals (if you are the main attraction there).
We, though nobodies of the AG feel that a tragedy has happened as someone after attending the conference said “Pastor D. Mohan has won and the Assemblies of God lost.”
I believe that God has his own ways of saving the Assemblies of God from the claws of these emerging dictators. Let’s wait and see what He does.

SIT submission on ‘Assemblies of God’

The special investigation team on Thursday submitted before the Kerala High Court that the probe into the activities of the South India Assemblies of God, a Pentecostal Church division, should be intensified and the investigation has to be conducted in Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi and many places in south India,
The prosecution case was that the organisation had obtained registration using forged documents. The case was registered at Aluva East police station based on a complaint filed by K K Jayesh Kumar of Aluva. However, the High Court had asked the state to constitute a special team under district police chief. DySP Aluva submitted that the investigation team conducted probe at Aluva, Kodungalloor, Kochi, Punalur, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Mumbai.
“The team recorded the statement of 25 persons and seized various documents. South Indian Assemblies of God has more than 1,000 prayer halls in the state. They have churches and general presbyteries in Andhra Pradesh, Bangalore, Kanyakumari and Mumbai,” it said. According to investigating officer six more months is needed to complete the investigation in the case.

SAVE THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD IN INDIA

I am writing these comments taking in to consideration a number of communications that I have been reading from various persons expressing, responding and reacting to the letter initially published by Rev. Ezekiel Joshua regarding the constitutional amendments made in the Special AGI Conference held at Chennai on 22nd and 23rd of August 2012. Among these, there are a number of letters inviting the AG people for unity and peace. A letter posted by one Mr./Rev. Andrew (no identity is revealed) in the name of the AGI appears to be an endeavour to make peace, though it is certainly a biased call, supporting only what the leaders of the AGI attempted to promote. Other letters written by persons like T. Natarajan Joseph expresses only extreme anger and personal revenge upon his adversaries.
The fact is that the great majority of us are for peace, stability and growth in the Assemblies of God in India and not for schism. But peace is never obtained by cheap means. It is costly and involves truth, justice, unselfishness and sacrifice.
I think for the past decades, the Assemblies of God in India has been functioning smoothly under the able leadership of great men of God who honoured the Scripture and who had covenanted with each other to be guided by the Constitution and Bylaws laid down by the founding fathers of this fellowship. But, now these foundations of the Assemblies of God are being destabilized by a new generation of leaders who seem to have no respect for the vision of the founding fathers who functioned under the definite direction of the Holy Spirit. In this context, I think that all members of the Assemblies of God fellowship, who are for peace, unity and progress need to seriously study the original vision of the Assemblies of God fellowship and in the light of this, evaluate the procedures and decisions of the Special General Conference held in Chennai on August 22 and 23. This must be subjected to adequate discussion and revision which is likely to restore the peace and stability that prevailed before the Special Conference held in Chennai. In fact, the decisions of the Special General Conference, proposed and promoted by the General Executive Committee of the AGI have already set in motion a lot of confusions and divisions in the local assemblies, among ministers, District councils, Regional councils and National council of the AG fellowship. The peace and unity that prevailed in the AG is now seriously disturbed.
1. The Vision of the Founding Fathers
The Assemblies of God was established in the year 1914 in Hotspring, Arkansas, USA. This was occasioned by the Pentecostal Revival during the early part of the 20th century. People who had Pentecostal experience were either expelled from the main-line churches or compelled to quit due to ridicule and discrimination. Many of those who had the Pentecostal experience gathered together for prayer, fellowship and worship as independent assemblies. As these assemblies sensed the need to have a common fellowship, the elders (pastors) and churches in the USA gathered together and after much deliberations covenanted with each other to establish a fellowship, namely, the Assemblies of God and got registered with the government.
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the founders made the following constitutional declaration which clearly states the nature of the AG fellowship and the relationship to each other:
“That we are a cooperative fellowship of Pentecostal, Spirit-baptized saints from local Pentecostal assemblies of like precious faith throughout the United States to be known as The General Council of the Assemblies of God whose purpose is neither to usurp authority over the various local assemblies, nor to deprive them of their scriptural and local rights and privileges; but to recognize and promote scriptural methods and order for worship, unity, fellowship, work, and business for God; and to disapprove unscriptural methods, doctrines, and conduct, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, ―till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ‖ (Ephesians 4:13).” (Constitution and By Laws of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the United States of America and Selected Territories: Constitutional Declaration).
2. Assemblies of God in India
When AG was pioneered in India by missionaries, and churches established by local pastors, the South India Assemblies of God (SIAG) was registered as a society in 1951 adapting basically the same constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God in the USA for the Indian churches. Other regions which later developed also followed similar constitution and bylaws and got registered as societies. AG was registered as a national body in 1997 (the General Council of the Assemblies of God of India), adapting almost the same constitution and bylaws of the AG in the USA for the national context.
The constitution and bylaws adopted by the above-said bodies were adequate to guide the activities of this fellowship, maintain peace and unity, honour the rights and privileges of members, and uphold the spiritual standards envisioned by the founders. However, the AGI Conference held at Chennai on 22nd and 23rd of August 2012 has turned upside down the very foundations of the Assemblies of God, and destabilized the democratic values, opening avenues for divisions, alienation of local assemblies from the leadership, depriving affiliated churches their rights assured in the constitution and bylaws. All these further open broader avenues for corrupt church politics and dictatorship of leadership.
3. The Disputed Special General Conference of August 22, 23, Chennai
The Special General Conference called by the General Executive Committee of the Assemblies of God at Chennai on August 22 and 23 is without legal validity and the amendments made on the constitution and bylaws of the AGI/Regional Conferences/District Councils seem to undermine the original vision on the very nature of this fellowship. There are a number of issues that we need to discuss about this conference, which I describe below:
a) The Special General Conference with no Special Situation or Emergency
The Constitution and Bylaws of the AGI state (Section IX, Sub-Section 2, Page 25) that Special General Body meetings may be called by the General Executive Committee to meet any special situation or emergency that may arise affecting the AGI. But there was apparently no any special situation or emergency that had risen in the Assemblies of God at national level or regional level or district level which could necessitate convening such a special general body or amending the foundations of the constitution. In fact, the regular Conference of the AGI was scheduled for the year 2013. This could have been the appropriate occasion to amend such crucial parts of the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God that has far reaching negative consequences. But quite surprisingly, it is not yet clear what compelled the AGI General Executive Committee to call such a special general conference of the AGI spending huge amounts of money and inviting unwanted hardships for members of the General Council. Though the General Executive Committee is empowered to convene Special General Conference for urgent matters, this law does not give them the right to convene a conference for unjustifiable causes. Also it must be noted here that the Constitution and bylaws that were amended in the AGI conference have never been amended by the mother church organisation of the AG in the USA. Then why such amendments were initiated in a haste by the leaders of the AGI Ex. Committee in India. Thus the Special General body meeting, which has uprooted the very foundations of the Assemblies of God fellowship in India is unjustifiable.
b) Legal Validity of the Special General Conference?
This Conference was held violating a number of constitution and bylaws of the AGI and the regulations of the Societies Act. First, the majority of the members of AGI Council have not received the conference notice at all. (All the ministers holding the current fellowship certificate of ordination and all affiliated churches of the Assemblies of God represented by one delegate are the members of the Council). Here, the rights of the constituent members of the General Council are violated. It has been reported that there are around 7000 members (no statistics available) in the AGI General Council, which includes ordained pastors (around 2000?) and affiliated churches (5000?). But quite shockingly the attendance on the first day of the Conference (August 22) was only 863 (727 ordained pastors and 136 church delegates). This means that the attendance of members to make such crucial amendments to the constitution and bylaws was insufficient–only one out of seven members attended, i.e., 1/7 or only 12%. This in no way could be regarded as a justifiable strength to make amendments to the fundamental constitution of the AGI. Also the small number of church delegates, i.e., only 136 church delegates from all over India, i.e., around 3% of the total number of member churches, an insignificant number of churches were represented in this crucial conference convened only for the sake of constitution amendment. Again, shockingly most of these 136 delegates were probationer ministers, Christian worker certificate holders and licensed ministers and not necessarily believers who are legitimately expected to represent the local congregations. The AGI General Executive Committee has in fact, failed to make certain that adequate strength of membership was there for this important conference to make decisions which has far reaching consequences for this society.
Special attention has to be given here on the non-compliance of the Tamil Nadu District Council that quite shockingly did not invite the affiliated churches to send their elected delegates for the AGI Conference. The notice sent to the affiliated churches by the Tamil Nadu District Council on 13-06-2012 does not invite the member churches of the AGI at all to send their delegates. Rather the notice states: Eligible candidates to participate in this conference are: 1. All ordained ministers. 2 The ministers of the recognised church as its delegate.” This is a deliberate violation of not only of the constitution but also of the rights of the affiliated churches. True, a pastor could represent a church if formally decided so by the General Body of the church, but that has to be decided only by the church and not by the direction of the Executive Council of any constituent District. No District Council has ever been constitutionally empowered to give such directions as to violate the rights of the affiliated member churches of the AGI. Surprisingly, this conference notice was served in a state where the Chief Functionary of the AGI (General Superintendent) resides and is a member of the Tamil Nadu District Council. This means, the churches are already being deprived of their rights and privileges with the knowledge and consent of the AGI superintendent. In the light of these violations of the constitution of the Assemblies of God by the AGI, how can anyone honestly claim to say that this conference is legally valid? I do not understand why some justify and defend the procedures of convening this conference.
It has also been reported that some district councils in the North India Assemblies of God do not invite the affiliated churches for their conferences and have failed to invite them for AGI conference. Again, this is a violation of the rights of the churches to participate in the conferences.
It must also be mentioned here that the AGI General Executive Committee has further failed in its duty to arrange to serve a copy of the proposed amendments in regional languages and distribute it to all constituent members. The few of copies of the amendment distributed were printed only in English. The majority of the pastors in the Assemblies of God are not well-versed in English language as to understand the content of such a technical document. This has ultimately deprived the member churches of the AGI the opportunity to discuss the amendments and represent their respective church’s opinions in the Conference. Is this not a violation of the rights of the members of the AGI council? How can we still call this conference as legally valid? Did we not violate and usurp authority of the local assemblies, and deprive them of their scriptural and local rights and privileges that have been guaranteed in the constitutional declaration.
c) Will of the Chair or the Will of the Floor?
The AGI follows universally accepted parliamentary orders for the conduct of business meetings. It is quite common to discuss the amendments and decide the matter based on the majority opinion as directed in the constitution. But contrary to this practice, following the presentation of each amendment and discussion, the Chairman exerted undue pressure on the floor to get the amendments approved favouring his opinion. On certain amendments, the members were falsely impressed upon by saying that such amendments have already been made in other countries. But most of these amendments made in constitution of the AGI have never been made even in the AG of the USA, the mother church organisation. It was finally clear in this conference that it was not the will of the floor that prevailed in the conference but the will of the Chairman, giving opportunities to suspect his intentions.
Another anomaly in the conference was the role played by the Parliamentarians. Instead of maintaining impartiality and upholding the parliamentary order, some members of this official body moved to the floor and began to argue for the chairman’s view points on constitutional amendments. At one point, when some members pointed out to the parliamentarians that an important amendment was passed without the required 2/3 majority and that there must be a count of votes, they just brushed aside the request.
I think that such things do not take place even in our state legislatures or parliament. This is a total disregard for democratic values. Note that the Assemblies of God is a congregational body and we uphold democratic traditions under the guidance of the Scripture.
d) Qualification of the Members to the Executive Committee
Regarding the qualifications of members to the AGI Executive Committee, and the Regional Councils, the proposed amendment states that a candidate must be an ordained minister, in active service of the AG for at least 15 years, should have served in AGI or Regional or District council committee for at least 5 years. Candidates for the District leadership should have served for 5 years in some capacity either as a presbyter or Ex. Committee member. In addition, to these qualifications, they should have working knowledge of English. These are unjust requirements for ordained ministers to be elected. Limiting the length of service for shorter period and requiring Christian maturity and competence are essential. But these requirements laid down in the constitution provides opportunities of leadership only to a few elites who always know how to get elected and those who can cleverly play church politics. A person who has never plotted to be elected as a presbyter or committee member cannot be regarded as eligible candidate for these responsibilities. Are we moving from bad church politics to the worst corrupt politics. This is a cheap breeding ground for corrupt church politics.
The above amendments must also be evaluated in the light of the qualifications laid down by the Assemblies of God in the USA in their bylaws:
“ ARTICLE II. ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND PRESBYTERS
Section 1. Officer: The officers of The General Council of the Assemblies of God shall be elected at its regular meetings in the manner provided in these Bylaws. They shall be ordained ministers of The General Council of the Assemblies of God and shall be persons of mature experience and ability, whose life and ministry are above question, and such qualities alone shall determine their eligibility.
The amendments made on the qualifications of candidates for Ex. Committees in India apparently manifest the lack of trust of the AGI General Executive Committee on the competence and eligibility of ordained ministers.
e) Nomination and Election
The right to nominate and elect members to the Executive Committees at national level, or regional level or district level from the beginning of the AG, whether it be district level, regional level, or national level, was that of the members of General Body. At the national level, the practice as stipulated in the original constitution was that the members of the General Council (the general body which consists of ordained ministers and delegates from churches) must nominate the candidates to the General Executive Committee during the Conference and then from this list, again they must be voted upon by the same general body. In fact, nomination and election was the right of the ordained ministers and delegates from affiliated churches. But now quite shockingly, the amendment that the AGI General Executive Committee proposed and approved by a minority vote during the AGI conference has deprived the ordained ministers and member churches their right to choose leaders. This is a treachery of the democratic practices that has been prevalent in the history of the Assemblies of God fellowship. Such practices could be found in the Roman Catholic Church. Are our leaders leading us back from the priesthood of all believers to the clergy centred hierarchy, Episcopalianism, from democratic practice where people exercise their rights to choose leaders to a system where ruling leaders deciding who must be their heirs. Is this not a mockery of democracy? Even in the Indian democracy, such violations of fundamental rights of citizens have not been heard of.
The amendment made in the AGI conference states that there should be a nomination and election committee to nominate names to the different posts in the Ex. Committee and a selection committee to approve the names. These names nominated and selected by these committees will then be presented to the General Body to be voted upon. Why this amendment? Why do you take away the right of members? Have the leaders lost trust in the wisdom of ordained ministers and church delegates? Are we not moving away from the constitutional declaration which states that the General Council of the Assemblies of God India is neither to usurp authority over the various local assemblies nor to deprive them of their spiritual and local rights and privileges. The General Executive Committee of the AGI has pressured the Conference members to violate the rights of members of the General Council by usurping the power, privileges and rights guaranteed in the constitution and bylaws. Nomination and Selection by few leaders whether at the national level, or regional level or district level will lead the AG to more confusion, nepotism, and discrimination.
Has the constitution and bylaws formulated by the founding fathers under the guidance of the Holy spirit become so obsolete that the modern leaders want to uproot the very fabric of the Assemblies of God? As stated by Mr./Rev. Andrew in his “call for prayer and unity of the Spirit” that the recommendations for such amendments were on the basis of closer alignment with biblical principles and in keeping with standard democratic principles is contrary to what has been affirmed in the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God fellowship. By making these amendments in the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God, the AGI has captured rights and privileges of not only the members of the AGI conference, but also encroached the rights of regional councils, district councils and local congregations. The regional councils and district councils are now expected to amend their respective constitutions according to the amendments made in the special general body of the AGI. The call for unity by leaders after creating confusions in the Assemblies of God by a total disregard for the privileges and rights of members of the AGI/Regional Councils/ District Councils by uprooting the constitutional values is unacceptable.

This is ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, a group of churches who pledged together to function as a co-operative fellowship and not a church which is owned or regulated by the whims and fancies of a group of leaders. I trust and plead that the Assemblies of God fellowship be restored to its original vision of working together as a co-operative fellowship, promoting the Kingdom of God. A reconciliation based on mutuality is what is the need of the hour and not unhealthy deviation from the original vision.

The 65th Annual Tamil District Conference was held at Trichy on the 9th, 10th and 11th of July 2013. As it was already decided the churches were deprived of their representation to the conference and the pastors are very much comfortable without their believers in the conference. On the 8th evening the presbytery gathered to take a decision on Rev. J.J. Y Arul the sitting Assistant Superintendent who had always been an irritation in the eyes of Rev. D. Mohan, Rev.Y. Jayaraj, Rev.P.S.Rajamoni and Rev. Abraham Thomas the sitting superintendent of the Tamil District. All the appointed men of the above said leaders gathered to make a mockery of the democracy and to sack Rev. Arul. They what they call “unanimously” decided to throw away Rev. Arul and his friends who stood with him in the recent years on the grounds of registering a para organization with the same title South Indian Assemblies of God from the same Charity Commissioner’s office at Mumbai.
Now the question arises why did they register such an organization? Rev. Arul and his team knew that SIAG had lost its registration because of negligence.Theywanted to find the truth of it and so first they went to Pune where SIAG claims to have an administrative office and found some amazing truth that SIAG never had any such registration.
So they went to Mumbai where the related Registrar/ Charity Commissioner’s office to clarify. They gave a search in the Charity Commissioner’s office, then at the Co operative Societies Registrar’s office and then at the Registrar of Company’s office. All computerized and manual searches clarified that there was no such registration. So with an intention to help out the organization as a safety measure and a step to prove that there is no such registration they asked for a registration with the name SOUTH INDIA ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, But as per the Delhi High Court ruling usage of the word INDIA was not possible but they graciously agreed to use the word INDIAN instead of INDIA.
They came down to Madurai where Rev. P.S Rajamoni was the then General Superintendent of the SIAG. Met with him and shown all the proofs but the great man of God made a mockery of all the proofs and said, ” I am not bothered because I don’t have anything to loose” Then they talked to the Tamil District leadership. The Tamil District leadership were counting the team as rebels because they questioned few irregularities in the organization. Hence counted everything rebellious. At this time only it was published in “Christhava Chintha:” Malayalam magazine.
After this Rev. V.T. Abraham took a personal interest went to Mumbai, spent a lot of money, energy and time and pain to get the organization to a status of Re Construction. Thanks to the General Secretaries up to the time of Rev.T.J. Samuel who were sincere in sending their reports to the Charity Commissioner’s office thinking as if there was a registration. At the merit of the number of papers which they had on their hand they have made it possible to be published in the government gazette. This would have never happened if Rev. Arul and his team brought these truths to light.
The charity commissioner has agreed for reconstruction of registration on the grounds that even if there is a minor opposition they would cancel the registration. But foolishly the presbytery of Tamil District along with the leadership are playing dirty and risky game with Rev. Arul and his team. I cannot highlight several dangers awaiting the organization if the same spirit continues.
They treacherously made Rev. Arul to withdraw from election himself. Then as soon as Arul sat from talking Rev. D. Mohan got the microphone and said “under the leadership of Rev. Arul , his team made an attempt to destroy Assemblies of God in India by giving a letter to the Registrar of Societies Chennai. And that while he was praying God showed him that the Registrar is going to tear the application of Arul and his team and throw into the dustbin. God told him to go immediately to the Registrar’s office and get the copy of the letter. When he got the copy he found about 325 people have signed in the paper and most of them were ignorant of what they are signing for. So God saved the organization from great danger”
It was a great joke to hear from the man of God that a Registrar would tear an application in which 325 people have signed and put it into a dustbin and that he would hand over a copy of the same without taking any action. Of course we know that his money has a lot of influence in all the government offices of Chennai. But he doesn’t know that the organization is running into danger. He is afraid that the illegal purchase of his Celebration Centre Property would come out if Arul and team would get elected again. Even if they are not elected everything is going to come out. All their 12 FCRA accounts on one fake Regn Number and all Income tax exemptions are going to be at stake. Any one who knows Rev. D. Mohan should advice him to stop this child’s game and help him grow..

In this context, I think that all members of the Assemblies of God fellowship, who are for peace, unity and progress need to seriously study the original vision of the Assemblies of God fellowship and in the light of this, evaluate the procedures and decisions of the Special General Conference held in Chennai on August 22 and 23. This must be subjected to adequate discussion and revision which is likely to restore the peace and stability that prevailed before the Special Conference held in Chennai. In fact, the decisions of the Special General Conference, proposed and promoted by the General Executive Committee of the AGI have already set in motion a lot of confusions and divisions in the local assemblies, among ministers, District councils, Regional councils and National council of the AG fellowship. The peace and unity that prevailed in the AG is now seriously disturbed.
1. The Vision of the Founding Fathers
The Assemblies of God was established in the year 1914 in Hotspring, Arkansas, USA. This was occasioned by the Pentecostal Revival during the early part of the 20th century. People who had Pentecostal experience were either expelled from the main-line churches or compelled to quit due to ridicule and discrimination. Many of those who had the Pentecostal experience gathered together for prayer, fellowship and worship as independent assemblies. As these assemblies sensed the need to have a common fellowship, the elders (pastors) and churches in the USA gathered together and after much deliberations covenanted with each other to establish a fellowship, namely, the Assemblies of God and got registered with the government.
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the founders made the following constitutional declaration which clearly states the nature of the AG fellowship and the relationship to each other:
“That we are a cooperative fellowship of Pentecostal, Spirit-baptized saints from local Pentecostal assemblies of like precious faith throughout the United States to be known as The General Council of the Assemblies of God whose purpose is neither to usurp authority over the various local assemblies, nor to deprive them of their scriptural and local rights and privileges; but to recognize and promote scriptural methods and order for worship, unity, fellowship, work, and business for God; and to disapprove unscriptural methods, doctrines, and conduct, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, ―till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ‖ (Ephesians 4:13).” (Constitution and By Laws of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the United States of America and Selected Territories: Constitutional Declaration).

2. Assemblies of God in India
When AG was pioneered in India by missionaries, and churches established by local pastors, the South India Assemblies of God (SIAG) was registered as a society in 1951 adapting basically the same constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God in the USA for the Indian churches. Other regions which later developed also followed similar constitution and bylaws and got registered as societies. AG was registered as a national body in 1997 (the General Council of the Assemblies of God of India), adapting almost the same constitution and bylaws of the AG in the USA for the national context.
The constitution and bylaws adopted by the above-said bodies were adequate to guide the activities of this fellowship, maintain peace and unity, honour the rights and privileges of members, and uphold the spiritual standards envisioned by the founders. However, the AGI Conference held at Chennai on 22nd and 23rd of August 2012 has turned upside down the very foundations of the Assemblies of God, and destabilized the democratic values, opening avenues for divisions, alienation of local assemblies from the leadership, depriving affiliated churches their rights assured in the constitution and bylaws. All these further open broader avenues for corrupt church politics and dictatorship of leadership.
3. The Disputed Special General Conference of August 22, 23, Chennai
The Special General Conference called by the General Executive Committee of the Assemblies of God at Chennai on August 22 and 23 is without legal validity and the amendments made on the constitution and bylaws of the AGI/Regional Conferences/District Councils seem to undermine the original vision on the very nature of this fellowship. There are a number of issues that we need to discuss about this conference, which I describe below:
a) The Special General Conference with no Special Situation or Emergency
The Constitution and Bylaws of the AGI state (Section IX, Sub-Section 2, Page 25) that Special General Body meetings may be called by the General Executive Committee to meet any special situation or emergency that may arise affecting the AGI. But there was apparently no any special situation or emergency that had risen in the Assemblies of God at national level or regional level or district level which could necessitate convening such a special general body or amending the foundations of the constitution. In fact, the regular Conference of the AGI was scheduled for the year 2013. This could have been the appropriate occasion to amend such crucial parts of the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God that has far reaching negative consequences. But quite surprisingly, it is not yet clear what compelled the AGI General Executive Committee to call such a special general conference of the AGI spending huge amounts of money and inviting unwanted hardships for members of the General Council. Though the General Executive Committee is empowered to convene Special General Conference for urgent matters, this law does not give them the right to convene a conference for unjustifiable causes. Also it must be noted here that the Constitution and bylaws that were amended in the AGI conference have never been amended by the mother church organisation of the AG in the USA. Then why such amendments were initiated in a haste by the leaders of the AGI Ex. Committee in India. Thus the Special General body meeting, which has uprooted the very foundations of the Assemblies of God fellowship in India is unjustifiable.
b) Legal Validity of the Special General Conference?
This Conference was held violating a number of constitution and bylaws of the AGI and the regulations of the Societies Act. First, the majority of the members of AGI Council have not received the conference notice at all. (All the ministers holding the current fellowship certificate of ordination and all affiliated churches of the Assemblies of God represented by one delegate are the members of the Council). Here, the rights of the constituent members of the General Council are violated. It has been reported that there are around 7000 members (no statistics available) in the AGI General Council, which includes ordained pastors (around 2000?) and affiliated churches (5000?). But quite shockingly the attendance on the first day of the Conference (August 22) was only 863 (727 ordained pastors and 136 church delegates). This means that the attendance of members to make such crucial amendments to the constitution and bylaws was insufficient–only one out of seven members attended, i.e., 1/7 or only 12%. This in no way could be regarded as a justifiable strength to make amendments to the fundamental constitution of the AGI. Also the small number of church delegates, i.e., only 136 church delegates from all over India, i.e., around 3% of the total number of member churches, an insignificant number of churches were represented in this crucial conference convened only for the sake of constitution amendment. Again, shockingly most of these 136 delegates were probationer ministers, Christian worker certificate holders and licensed ministers and not necessarily believers who are legitimately expected to represent the local congregations. The AGI General Executive Committee has in fact, failed to make certain that adequate strength of membership was there for this important conference to make decisions which has far reaching consequences for this society.

Special attention has to be given here on the non-compliance of the Tamil Nadu District Council that quite shockingly did not invite the affiliated churches to send their elected delegates for the AGI Conference. The notice sent to the affiliated churches by the Tamil Nadu District Council on 13-06-2012 does not invite the member churches of the AGI at all to send their delegates. Rather the notice states: Eligible candidates to participate in this conference are: 1. All ordained ministers. 2 The ministers of the recognised church as its delegate.” This is a deliberate violation of not only of the constitution but also of the rights of the affiliated churches. True, a pastor could represent a church if formally decided so by the General Body of the church, but that has to be decided only by the church and not by the direction of the Executive Council of any constituent District. No District Council has ever been constitutionally empowered to give such directions as to violate the rights of the affiliated member churches of the AGI. Surprisingly, this conference notice was served in a state where the Chief Functionary of the AGI (General Superintendent) resides and is a member of the Tamil Nadu District Council. This means, the churches are already being deprived of their rights and privileges with the knowledge and consent of the AGI superintendent. In the light of these violations of the constitution of the Assemblies of God by the AGI, how can anyone honestly claim to say that this conference is legally valid? I do not understand why some justify and defend the procedures of convening this conference.
It has also been reported that some district councils in the North India Assemblies of God do not invite the affiliated churches for their conferences and have failed to invite them for AGI conference. Again, this is a violation of the rights of the churches to participate in the conferences.
It must also be mentioned here that the AGI General Executive Committee has further failed in its duty to arrange to serve a copy of the proposed amendments in regional languages and distribute it to all constituent members. The few of copies of the amendment distributed were printed only in English. The majority of the pastors in the Assemblies of God are not well-versed in English language as to understand the content of such a technical document. This has ultimately deprived the member churches of the AGI the opportunity to discuss the amendments and represent their respective church’s opinions in the Conference. Is this not a violation of the rights of the members of the AGI council? How can we still call this conference as legally valid? Did we not violate and usurp authority of the local assemblies, and deprive them of their scriptural and local rights and privileges that have been guaranteed in the constitutional declaration.
c) Will of the Chair or the Will of the Floor?
The AGI follows universally accepted parliamentary orders for the conduct of business meetings. It is quite common to discuss the amendments and decide the matter based on the majority opinion as directed in the constitution. But contrary to this practice, following the presentation of each amendment and discussion, the Chairman exerted undue pressure on the floor to get the amendments approved favouring his opinion. On certain amendments, the members were falsely impressed upon by saying that such amendments have already been made in other countries. But most of these amendments made in constitution of the AGI have never been made even in the AG of the USA, the mother church organisation. It was finally clear in this conference that it was not the will of the floor that prevailed in the conference but the will of the Chairman, giving opportunities to suspect his intentions.
Another anomaly in the conference was the role played by the Parliamentarians. Instead of maintaining impartiality and upholding the parliamentary order, some members of this official body moved to the floor and began to argue for the chairman’s view points on constitutional amendments. At one point, when some members pointed out to the parliamentarians that an important amendment was passed without the required 2/3 majority and that there must be a count of votes, they just brushed aside the request.
I think that such things do not take place even in our state legislatures or parliament. This is a total disregard for democratic values. Note that the Assemblies of God is a congregational body and we uphold democratic traditions under the guidance of the Scripture.

d) Qualification of the Members to the Executive Committee
Regarding the qualifications of members to the AGI Executive Committee, and the Regional Councils, the proposed amendment states that a candidate must be an ordained minister, in active service of the AG for at least 15 years, should have served in AGI or Regional or District council committee for at least 5 years. Candidates for the District leadership should have served for 5 years in some capacity either as a presbyter or Ex. Committee member. In addition, to these qualifications, they should have working knowledge of English. These are unjust requirements for ordained ministers to be elected. Limiting the length of service for shorter period and requiring Christian maturity and competence are essential. But these requirements laid down in the constitution provides opportunities of leadership only to a few elites who always know how to get elected and those who can cleverly play church politics. A person who has never plotted to be elected as a presbyter or committee member cannot be regarded as eligible candidate for these responsibilities. Are we moving from bad church politics to the worst corrupt politics. This is a cheap breeding ground for corrupt church politics.
The above amendments must also be evaluated in the light of the qualifications laid down by the Assemblies of God in the USA in their bylaws:
“ ARTICLE II. ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND PRESBYTERS
Section 1. Officer: The officers of The General Council of the Assemblies of God shall be elected at its regular meetings in the manner provided in these Bylaws. They shall be ordained ministers of The General Council of the Assemblies of God and shall be persons of mature experience and ability, whose life and ministry are above question, and such qualities alone shall determine their eligibility.
The amendments made on the qualifications of candidates for Ex. Committees in India apparently manifest the lack of trust of the AGI General Executive Committee on the competence and eligibility of ordained ministers.
e) Nomination and Election
The right to nominate and elect members to the Executive Committees at national level, or regional level or district level from the beginning of the AG, whether it be district level, regional level, or national level, was that of the members of General Body. At the national level, the practice as stipulated in the original constitution was that the members of the General Council (the general body which consists of ordained ministers and delegates from churches) must nominate the candidates to the General Executive Committee during the Conference and then from this list, again they must be voted upon by the same general body. In fact, nomination and election was the right of the ordained ministers and delegates from affiliated churches. But now quite shockingly, the amendment that the AGI General Executive Committee proposed and approved by a minority vote during the AGI conference has deprived the ordained ministers and member churches their right to choose leaders. This is a treachery of the democratic practices that has been prevalent in the history of the Assemblies of God fellowship. Such practices could be found in the Roman Catholic Church. Are our leaders leading us back from the priesthood of all believers to the clergy centred hierarchy, Episcopalianism, from democratic practice where people exercise their rights to choose leaders to a system where ruling leaders deciding who must be their heirs. Is this not a mockery of democracy? Even in the Indian democracy, such violations of fundamental rights of citizens have not been heard of.
The amendment made in the AGI conference states that there should be a nomination and election committee to nominate names to the different posts in the Ex. Committee and a selection committee to approve the names. These names nominated and selected by these committees will then be presented to the General Body to be voted upon. Why this amendment? Why do you take away the right of members? Have the leaders lost trust in the wisdom of ordained ministers and church delegates? Are we not moving away from the constitutional declaration which states that the General Council of the Assemblies of God India is neither to usurp authority over the various local assemblies nor to deprive them of their spiritual and local rights and privileges. The General Executive Committee of the AGI has pressured the Conference members to violate the rights of members of the General Council by usurping the power, privileges and rights guaranteed in the constitution and bylaws. Nomination and Selection by few leaders whether at the national level, or regional level or district level will lead the AG to more confusion, nepotism, and discrimination.
Has the constitution and bylaws formulated by the founding fathers under the guidance of the Holy spirit become so obsolete that the modern leaders want to uproot the very fabric of the Assemblies of God? As stated by Mr./Rev. Andrew in his “call for prayer and unity of the Spirit” that the recommendations for such amendments were on the basis of closer alignment with biblical principles and in keeping with standard democratic principles is contrary to what has been affirmed in the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God fellowship. By making these amendments in the constitution and bylaws of the Assemblies of God, the AGI has captured rights and privileges of not only the members of the AGI conference, but also encroached the rights of regional councils, district councils and local congregations. The regional councils and district councils are now expected to amend their respective constitutions according to the amendments made in the special general body of the AGI. The call for unity by leaders after creating confusions in the Assemblies of God by a total disregard for the privileges and rights of members of the AGI/Regional Councils/ District Councils by uprooting the constitutional values is unacceptable.
This is ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, a group of churches who pledged together to function as a co-operative fellowship and not a church which is owned or regulated by the whims and fancies of a group of leaders. I trust and plead that the Assemblies of God fellowship be restored to its original vision of working together as a co-operative fellowship, promoting the Kingdom of God. A reconciliation based on mutuality is what is the need of the hour and not unhealthy deviation from the original vision.
